TIZZO
AN ANCIENT SPECIES OF VINE, REPRODUCED BY GRAFTING FROM OLD VINES
The “tizzo” was the glowing log that burned in the hearth of every rural home, warming the long and cold winter days.
For my father, it is a memory of tradition and conviviality — the same spirit we hope this wine can express.
Pugnitello, an indigenous but now rare grape variety, tells a Tuscan story: one of forgotten grapes that gradually gave way to the modern demands of the wine economy.
